Learn how the Salem potters harvested and processed the local clay for their pottery. Ask questions and practice techniques that you can apply with clay, wherever you find it. This is a beginner level class for participants who have some familiarity with pottery clay.

If you would like to follow along with the activity at home, you will need:
- two buckets
- clay you have dug
- A wooden or plaster board
- access to water
- an old pillowcase
